Wednesday, June 10, 2009- Okay, I'm back from Mt Ophir yesterday nite. But, I'm pretty lazy to upload pics ah..
So, I woke up, smelling the fresh air of Singapore (well, not exactly fresh, theres H1N1 virus in this country).
Okay, you know what? I feel like talking about my eating habit. I eat lots of fruits each week. Lots of it. But vegetables? Not soo much of it. I have issues with vegetables. I only like to eat salad cabbages. It started out way back when I'm around 3 years of age or somethin'. Mum, was feeding me, I ate some veges and vomitted after that. And from then on, I kept feeling like vomitting. I can still remember my dad scolding me for puking. Something that would work for me is definitely to eat fruit salad! I loved to eat it 2 years back.. Damn. Think I should prepare some for myself next week.
I love meat! Chicken, beef and mutton is on top of my list of foods. I used to love eating the fatty parts of meat, eg. Chicken skin, but I have been limiting myself to only a certain amount of 'em.
The main reason why is that I do NOT want a belly. Well, imagine me with a big belly? You saw that? Wow, that looks awesome doesn't it?
If I were to have a lot of money to spare (which rarely happens), I would buy some minced meat, and EAT THEM! Ever tried cooking some minced meat and eating them like rice? Lol, it tastes awesome! But sadly, you have to wave goodbye to your money.
Eggs. I eat lots of eggs. But once again, I have limitations. I limit myself to a maximum of 2 egg yolks a day. No limitations for egg white. Thats where I get my proteins, other than from meat.
Fish. Occassionally eat it. But if anyone from my family is to offer me to eat it, it means that they are prepared to see nothing else but the fish head and its bones. Rahimi prefers BIG fishes.
I limit myself to soft drinks. They're high in sugar, usually have artificial colouring and flavours and bla bla bla. I don't want to risk myself to diabetes yer know. Both my grandparents from both sides of my parents have diabetes. What do you think? lol. I'm used to and like the good 'ol plain water. They're simple, cool and refreshing in a lot of sense. Just like me. :D
But what I really love to drink if I'm not having sore throat is HL chocolate milk. They're high in protein and calcium, and they taste awesome. But they're heaty. (come to think of it, HL milk is just like me, and plus, it is heaty, and just like it, I'm hot!) Blue text is fake. Haha. I dont drink protein shakes, coz I can't afford them, but I would if I have enough money. So, that is when chocolate milk and a high protein diet takes place for me.
And of course, I prefer to eat 6 times a day. But if theres too little time, it would go down to as little as 3 meals. And speaking of food, I'm hungry.
Oh, and food aside, my leg hurts after the Mount Ophir hike. Yep, leg muscle pain ah. Its a good feeling though, but it would be good that I get it recovered as soon as possible, coz track and field camp is coming up on Friday.
And I must not go to the gym tomorrow because of the upcoming camp, although I feel like it. And no running too. Okay, that sucked. Maybe I should go buy a shirt tomorrow then. And do lots of slacking before doing my holiday assignments. Damn, that was a good idea.
