Monday, December 24, 2007- Let me share with you a story.
There is this train, and as usual from every other day, it is moving on a track for a daily journey.
A hundred metres from the speeding train which contains 500 people, there are two separate tracks which are linked to one train track. One separate track is old and rusty, it has not been used for twenty years. Another is the new one, where the train usually moves on nowadays. On the new train track, there are seven children playing on it. They were in the act of mischief, playing around on it. On the old one, there is a lonely boy who is playing too. He decided not to play on the new track as he knew that it was too dangerous. He played on the old track, knowing that it is no longer being used. The train is speeding towards the new side of the track and the train controller realised that there were the 7 children playing on it. He had to choose whether he should switch to : the old, or the new track.
Imagine that you are the train controller. What should you do? Write it down on a piece of paper, or really be honest to yourself and tell yourself which track you want to go to..

okay, if you choose to go to the old track, i will tell you this. You have made the wrong choice.
Although it seems that you will end up causing less trouble, it is in fact a different thing.
Think about this, the old track has not been used for 20 years, its old and rusty. If the train is to get on the old track, who knows, the train might just crash somewhere, killing 500 people on the train, which does not include yourself. You must be thinking ahead of what you are to do, and sometimes, you must not think selfishly.
if you choose the new track, you have made the right choice. Why is this so? There are seven children on the track, and you wana kill them?! wrong. Since there are seven children on the track, there will be less risk to them losing their lives. They have a high chance to see or hear the speeding train and will be able to warn each other about it.
Also, the old track only has one child, who might not be able to hear or see the train before it is too late.
And from this story, you are the controller, the track is the path you choose, the people on the train are the people who has something to do with you which can be your loved ones, your friends, your rivals, the poor, just anyone. I hope that you have learnt something from this. Everything you do, it may change situations, change lives and many things. Different paths could mean different things, the good or the bad.
You know, people, i have been reflecting a lot on this story myself, and i really have learnt a lot from it. My good intentions could not be seen by all of you right now, but im really sticking to it.
I hope that all the people who misunderstood me will understand that i really have good intentions and it may seem that im up to no good, being selfish or being a hypocrite, but i actually am not. Hah, but, i'm not forcing anyone to believe me, i just hope that you will though.
yeah, so, whatever i do, its something good that i want to do.
